Welcome to my neuro-affirming practice where we can gently explore your neurodivergent experience. Our work is about curious exploration—finding out what serves you, what feels heavy, and what you need to feel more at ease in your own life.
I am a fully qualified BACP counsellor offering in-person sessions in Leeds, as well as online therapy. I provide a calm, accommodating environment where you can safely explore your experiences without fear of judgment or the need to mask. While I support clients with a wide range of challenges, I specialise in the unique ways stress, anxiety, and depression present in neurodivergent individuals—such as navigating sensory overwhelm, masking fatigue, and autistic or ADHD burnout.
I have been in Leeds since 2012 but I’ve also had the opportunity to travel, spending time in Leicester, London and Nottingham. I have also lived abroad, an experience which has given me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures.
I initially started my career studying Computer science at University before switching to Physiotherapy. It was during that course that I was diagnosed with depression. I took some time out and talked through my problems in counselling. One of the problems I encountered was realising that I was always doing things to please others and not looking after myself. This caused a lot of underlying stress & anxiety which I was unaware of. Counselling helped me a great deal, enabling me to understand where these difficulties had come from but importantly what I could do to address how I was feeling.

I spent many years working in hospitality before eventually deciding to turn to a career in Counselling. My training helped me a great deal, putting me on the path of self discovery and personal development which eventually resulted in me becoming a counsellor. It has helped me grow as a person and still continues to do so.
Hopefully I can support you to make the changes that will help you achieve your full potential and ultimately be happy.
Reaching out for help can be daunting, especially if you are used to feeling misunderstood. For this reason, I provide a calm, grounded, and low-pressure environment where you can safely explore what you are experiencing. The world can often be so fast-paced, loud, and demanding that it’s hard to even think straight. Having a dedicated space to share your thoughts and emotions—without having to mask or fear judgment—is the foundation of our work together.
Working collaboratively, we will identify the areas of your life you want to address and figure out what meaningful support looks like for you. My approach focuses on helping you gain a deeper understanding of everything that has brought you to this moment. Rather than just recounting the facts of what has happened, we will focus on how you process those experiences and the emotions attached to them. Gently untangling these difficult feelings is often the starting point to reducing stress, anxiety, and burnout.
Going through this exploration will allow you to come away with a much clearer, more compassionate understanding of your life experiences and how your unique mind works. This is an incredibly empowering process. Once you have this understanding, you will have the clarity and confidence to make positive changes that actually align with who you are.
Keith has been great to me. I didn't know what I was doing or where to start, but with each session we slowly started taking things apart and helping me understand more about myself. I'm currently making big changes to my life, and Keith has helped me set myself up for that. Thanks Keith.
